Prestige Sports tekent één van de toptalenten van KV Mechelen, Tibo Jacobs

De 18-jarige jeugdinternational Tibo Jacobs kiest voor het management van Prestige Sports. De opkomende moderne linksback is een lust voor het oog. “Jacobs heeft alles wat een hedendaagse moderne back moet hebben. Hij is snel, agressief in de duels, enorm sterk in de 1 tegen 1 defensief, heeft veel loopvermogen en spelinzicht. Dat in combinatie met scorend vermogen maakt hem een speler die we absoluut wilden begeleiden.” Zegt zaakwaarnemer Carlos Barros.

Tibo heeft dit seizoen het grootste gedeelte van de eerste seizoenshelft moeten missen door een blessure. Maar was één van de revelaties in de tweede seizoenshelft bij jong KV Mechelen. Zo speelde hij alles, maakte hij goals en was hij goed voor assists en kwam hij sterker terug dan voor zijn blessure.

De jonge Belg is ambitieus “Ik kies bewust voor een Nederlands managementbureau als Belgische speler, omdat ik mezelf ook wel in Nederland zie spelen. Op dit moment ben ik nog in gesprek met KV Mechelen over een langer verblijf bij de club, maar sluit een stap nu of volgend seizoen zeker niet uit. Daarnaast spreekt de wijze waarop Prestige Sports spelers begeleidt mij en mijn ouders heel erg aan. Ik ben zelf ook een speler die heel erg in zet op ontwikkeling en ben er van overtuigd dat ik samen met Prestige goede stappen kan maken.” Aldus Tibo Jacobs zelf.

Prestige Sports signs one of KV Mechelen’s top talents Tibo Jacobs.

The 18-year-old youth international Tibo Jacobs chooses the management of Prestige Sports.
The emerging modern left-back is a feast for the eyes. “Jacobs has everything a now a days modern back should have.

He is fast, aggressive very strong in the 1 versus 1 defensivly and has the capability to cover a lot of ground. Is game vision is very impressive aswell.
That, in combination with his scoring abilities, makes him a player we absolutely wanted to manage.” Says agent Carlos Barros.

Tibo has had to miss most of the first half of the season due to an injury. But was one of the revelations in the 2nd half of the season at KV Mechelen U21. He played all games in the second half of the season as a starter, scored goals, was good for lots of assists and came back stronger than before his injury.

The young Belgian is ambitious “I consciously choose a Dutch management agency as a Belgian player because I can see myself playing in the Netherlands.
I am currently still in talks with KV Mechelen about a longer stay at the club, but I certainly do not rule out a transfer now or next season.
In addition, the way in which Prestige Sports guides players really appeals to me and my parents. I am also a player who is very committed to development and I am convinced that together with my management I can make suitainable steps forward in my career.” According to Tibo Jacobs himself.
